Waste Sorting - Items starting with "D"

This coming week's rubbish bins are general waste (red / dark green), let's look at more waste sorting with things that start with the letter D!

 
Disposable Nappies

These items should go into general waste. I Dry Cleaning Bags should too, but there may be a location you can drop it off to - you can check online if you're unsure!

 
Roll-on Deodorant & Drink Cans

Roll-on Deodorant in glass or plastic containers can go in the recycling bin, provided they are clean and empty. Drink cans are the same, but make sure you're looking for the 10c mark on the side - take a few with you when you next visit the Donnybrook Lions Club - Containers for Change to get some cash back!

 

Dairy Products & Dirt / Soil

These can go in your FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) bin. If you're doing some earth-works in your garden though, make sure you take the dirt or soil to a local drop-off station or to one of our local Waste Facilities!
