Donnybrook Transit Park

Situated off Reserve Street in a prime position next to the Apple Fun Park playground and Egan Park, local shops and services, and next to the scenic Noneycup Creek, the Donnybrook Transit Park is the perfect choice when visiting Donnybrook and surrounds. 

At this location, each site has capacity for vehicle or tent camping. There are fourteen (14) powered sites with concrete slabs, and seven (7) unpowered sites. There are also modern accessible ablutions, a BBQ, scheme water, and a caravan liquid waste dump-point. 

Pets are welcome as long as owners adhere to regulations listed in the document linked above. 

 

Making a Booking:

The Donnybrook Transit Park uses a third party booking system called RMS. Please ensure that you have typed all of your details correctly, and check your junk/spam folders for your booking confirmation email and further correspondence.

Rates Per Night (Donnybrook Transit Park)

Powered Sites (per night):

  • Site fee (max 2 adults): $33.00

    Unpowered Sites (per night):

    • Site fee (single): $16.00
    • Site fee (couple): $26.00

     

    Additional Information:

    • Each additional adult (17+) is $8.00 each. Each additional child (2-16) is $4.00 each. Children under 2 years of age are free.

    • Cancellation fees apply: 14 or more days notice incurs a fee of $15.00 per night booked. Less than 14 days notice incurs a fee of the cost of each night booked.

    • No refunds are provided for early departures. 

    Group Bookings:

    • Each person, adult or child, for a group booking is $13.00 each. Children under 2 years of age are free.

    • If you are looking to make a booking on behalf of a school, sporting group, community group/club, etc., please contact us for assistance instead of booking online.

    • For your booking confirmation and any other correspondence, please check your emails. Because the booking system is done through a third party system, your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) may have settings that automatically send the email to your spam/junk folders, so please ensure you check there too.
    • Under the Caravan Parks & Camping Grounds Regulations 1997, guests are only permitted to stay at the Donnybrook Transit Park for a maximum of three (3) nights. If you are looking for long-term accommodation, the Kirup Tavern has a registered caravan park that may be able to accommodate you.

    How do I tell if there is availability when I book online?

    When booking through the online booking system it contains a site map which will show which bays are available. If a bay is shaded, it means it is booked. If you can select the site, then it is available.

    I'm looking for Balingup Transit Park

    The Balingup Transit Park is managed by the Balingup Visitor Centre. It is is located adjacent to the Balingup Recreation Centre sporting complex off Walter Road in Balingup. The Transit Park provides for vehicle, caravan and tent camping. 17 sites are powered.  Also available are modern accessible ablutions, scheme water and BBQ facilites.

    When do I pay for my booking?

    All bookings need to be paid in full at time of booking using a credit / debit card.

    How do I know my booking is confirmed (online bookings)?

    Upon finalising your online booking / payment you will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. All forms of correspondence will be made via email unless a phone call is urgently required, so please check your emails.     Why am I getting an error message or not able to process my booking online?

    The system will not approve or accept any bookings that are over three (3) nights long. Alternatively, the site you are looking to book may have varying availability due to maintenance. We suggest you refresh your page and try again, however if you are still getting the error, please contact the Shire for assistance.

    What is the code to access the amenities?

    The amenities at the Donnybrook Transit Park are for guests only. Once you have completed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email which will include the access code to the amenities. We politely request that you do not share this code with anyone outside of your booking party so as to ensure that only authorised guests are using these facilities. Please note that the code is changed regularly to assist in this endeavour - if you are having issues using the code, please call (08) 9780 4200.

     

    The Balingup Transit Park amenities are open to the public, however this is only a toilet block at present. For showering facilities, please talk with the staff at the Balingup Visitor Centre on (08) 9764 1818.

    Is there a laundry service?

    There is no laundry facility at the Transit Park. There is a self-service laundromat in close proximity at the BP Service Station at 15 South Western Highway in Donnybrook.
