Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal - Development Application P24054

The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited:

Lot 12 (137) Mardawarra Road, Mullalyup

Proposal:

Workforce accommodation (12 persons) and removal of existing dwelling. The application states that the accommodation will ensure the health and safety of seasonal fruit pickers employed at harvest time. It is envisaged the accommodation will be utilised for the duration of the fruit harvest from December to March each year depending on seasonal variance. The accommodation is solely provided for fruit harvest from the company owned assets.

Details of the proposal are available to the public at the Shire Administration Office at 1 Bentley Street (Donnybrook) and on the Consultation page linked below. Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending on 29 October 2024. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the Shire in writing on or before that day. Submissions are to be emailed to planning@donnybrook.wa.gov.au or posted to Planning Submissions, PO Box 94, Donnybrook, 6239.
