We’d like to let you know about some changes to the opening times and services over the Christmas and New Year period for the Donnybrook Recreation Centre (DRC).
Christmas Opening Times
- Tuesday 24 December: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Wednesday 25 December: Closed
- Thursday 26 December: Closed
- Friday 27 December: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Saturday 28 December: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Sunday 29 December: Closed
- Monday 30 December: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Tuesday 31 December: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Wednesday 1 January: Closed
Normal opening times resume from Tuesday 2 January 2025.

Group Fitness Classes
Classes, including Strength for Life, will finish on Friday 20 December and resume on Friday 3 January 2025. To celebrate the season, a special Christmas workout is planned for Friday 20 December - so bring your best festive outfit and join in the fun!
Creche
The last Creche session will be on Thursday 19 December and will resume on Monday 6 January at the usual time of 9:00am to 11:00am.
Vacation Swimming Lessons
The Education Department Vacation Swimming lessons will run from Monday 6 January to Thursday 30 January, between 8:00am and 12:30pm. Please be aware that the pool may be busier than usual during these times.
