Advice of Works: November 2024

IRISHTOWN:

  • Irishtown Road Bridge Repairs (throughout Nov.): Investigation of detailed designs and tendering processes will be undertaken.
  • Access Road (commencing this month): Upgrades to existing roadway and construction of new roadway into unmade road reserve to allow for ongoing access into Irishtown (Kelly Street / Hamilton Street / Fowler Street).

 

DONNYBROOK:

  • VC Mitchell Park (ongoing throughout Nov.): As part of the redevelopment of the site, an upgrade of the existing access and carparkinng areas will be undertaken.
  • Townsite (commencing mid-late Nov.): Installation of Christmas lights and banners.

 

YABBERUP:

  • Johnston Street Sealing* (commencing late Nov.): The upgrading of Johnston St to a sealed standard will commence this month.

 

SPORTS OVALS:

  • VC Mitchell Park / Egan Park / Balingup Oval*: Turf renovations vertimowing and aerating of sports ovals to commence this month.

 

* Please note that these works were delayed due to the incident affecting the Irishtown Road Bridge, and were originally set to start in October. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

 

Works operations typically take place from 7:00am - 5:00pm on weekdays, and will be clearly signed. We request that you follow all directional signage as required and drive safely to the road conditions when travelling near or through the designated areas. Delays are expected to be minimal.
