The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup invites submissions from the public on the VC Mitchell Park (VCMP) Business Plan, draft Licences and Management Model. Community members are also invited to a Community Engagement Forum to discuss these documents and provide feedback on options for broader use of the facility in the future.

VC Mitchell Park Business Plan Summary

The Business Plan outlines a comprehensive plan to redevelop VC Mitchell Park into a modern, multi-use community, sporting and recreation precinct, which aims to enhance local amenities, support community health and well-being, and drive economic growth through improved facilities and increased participation in sports and events. The Plan includes an overall assessment of the major trading undertaking and addresses expected effects.

Community Engagement Forum

• Time: 10am to 3pm
• Venue: VC Mitchell Park Community Club (access via Steere St, Donnybrook, WA 6239)

The Business Plan, draft Licences and Management Model are available for viewing on the Shire’s website, and may inspected at and obtained from the Shire’s Administration Office during business hours. Submissions may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Donnybrook Balingup, via any of the following methods. Submissions close 4:30pm (AWST) on Friday 17 January 2025.
