ACROSS THE WHOLE SHIRE
Typical Winter maintenance of roads & drains throughout the Shire.
With the change in seasons, there are more trees and drains and roads that need our attention.
As a result of the recent severe storms in the South West, in the last two weeks (since the time of posting this notice on 14 June 2024), the Shire has received 70 reports for not just a tree here or a drain there, but multiple at each site. Our team is working hard to address each report, prioritising urgent issues and working through each situation as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience and assistance during this time.
If you see anything needing our attention, please continue to send through your reports through our website. If you believe something might be dangerous, please call the Shire Administration Office on (08) 9780 4200 as soon as possible so that we may assist.
Hours of operation are typically between 7:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Works will be clearly signed, and we request that you exercise due care when travelling near or through the designated areas. Delays are expected to be minimal.
Should you have any enquiries or require further information, please contact the Shire Works & Services Department during Office Hours (Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 4:00pm). Alternatively, you can submit your enquiry online:
