About the Role

The Shire is seeking the services of a highly motivated and suitably qualified applicant for the role of Recreation Centre Duty Officer. This is a permanent part-time position at 50 hours per fortnight. Essential criteria and other information is listed in the position description (PD) above.

The vibrant regional recreational centre consists of; Indoor pool, Swim School, Gym, Group Fitness Program, Wellness Room, Creche, Indoor Stadium, Squash Courts and an extensive range of Junior Programs.

As the Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Donnybrook Recreation Centre, ensuring the facility runs efficiently and meets safety standards. This includes supervising lifeguards, monitoring water quality, maintaining plant equipment, and managing customer service, reception duties, and facility bookings. You will play a vital role in delivering an enjoyable experience for all users. Shifts will vary across the 6 day a week operation. 

A competitive hourly rate of up to $32.45 plus weekend penalties is offered depending on qualifications and experience.  In addition, the following benefits are also offered:
