The role of Community Emergency Services Manager (12 month Parental Leave cover)  is committed to providing efficient and professional emergency services to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, implement, and manage community emergency services.
• Administer Emergency Service Levy Operational and Capital Grants.
• Prepare annual budgets and future works planning.
• Develop and review relevant policies, local laws, and procedures.
• Be on-call and attend incidents as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and relevant legislation.
• Experience in budget management and grant funding.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Current manual ‘C’ (Car) Class Driver’s License.
