The Shire advises the community that the lights at the oval are being replaced as a part of the Community Club Project, which will require partial closure of the precinct while works are conducted.

These closures will be in place for public safety from Thursday 29 August 2024, and are expected to be complete by Friday 6 September 2024.

During this period, there will be no lighting available at the oval and the closure area will also include the Vin Farley playground, aka the Tractor Park, for a limited period (when cranes are in use). We understand this may be inconvenient or frustrating to many of our community members, however the closures are being put in place to ensure your safety while the works are being done.
