The Annual Photography Competition

Every year, we host a photography competition for an annual calendar that is provided to the community for the following year, free of charge. This is an opportunity to showcase our region and the talent within the community, with a different theme chosen each year to promote particular parts of the district.

2024 Competition: Now & Then

Entries to the 2024 Photography Competition are for the 2025 Shire Calendar. Entries can be made from 8:00am on 1 September to 5:00pm on 30 September, 2024.

This year's theme is called Now & Then, and is an opportunity to explore, showcase and recognise the history and heritage of where we are and where we’ve come from. Entries should be current photos, which will be contrasted with a photo from the past. A photo from the past is not required on entry, but we do ask that you tell us what and where your photo is so that we can work on finding one from the archives.
